"For any family member who belts out 'I Left My Heart In San Francisco' over the pudding."

Rightly lauded as the last-man-standing of an era, this is the companion piece soundtrack to the concert documentary where the likely — Gaga, k d lang, the ubiquitous Buble — pay tribute in song.

Along with the likely there is the puzzling: Billy Joel has the New York credentials, and Kevin Spacey is actually a helluva singer — although If I Ruled The World should probably have been delivered with Frank Underwood's drawl. The Man himself is eventually 'persuaded' to deliver his standards, and does so with all the necessary panache and showbiz. Ideal stocking-filler for mum, gran or for any family member who belts out I Left My Heart In San Francisco over the pudding.
