Tien Tran

"A show full of sharp observational humour."

Tien Tran comes across as a pretty smart guy, delivering a show full of sharp observational humour and a refreshing level of self-awareness.

Looking at discrimination from both sides, he presents a perfectly astute, and painfully funny, examination of Australian racism and an honest appraisal of male privilege. Unfortunately, not all of his material lives up to the high standard he’s set himself; his joke about the origins of AIDS among others certainly fell flat. His energy was low and at times his delivery undermined the quality of his material.
