It's tough to sound contemporary when you open with a track called Hashtag IRL, a critique of our culture of over-sharing and under-engaging online.

It feels like a punchline delivered by a 60-year-old who cheats on his wife, calls his mates "boys", and can't wait for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Marble Air, a gentle, woozy bit of psychedelia, restores the mood. Ecco Echo's title and its stop start nature recalls the past with neatness and subtlety. Fear Of Silence is a James Murphy-inflected groove of a dance record and the EP's peak. Even the boys would like it!
