Squelchy electronic pop that could convincingly give its date of manufacture any time in the last 20 years, more than half this EP comprises various remixes of the lead track, all with slightly different approaches – from near-lounge smooth to slightly more jagged takes – to perhaps broaden its dancefloor appeal to a number of differently mooded nights at The Ivy. And even with six goes, no one version appeals as the definitive focus. Of the other tracks, most are pretty generic synth dance stuff, although Broken Boy's angled idiosyncrasies hold the interest more than most.
