Album Review: The Vintage Caravan - Voyage

Clearly very competent on their instruments in the sort of headstrong adolescent rampage that makes this album feel so good.

More The Vintage Caravan More The Vintage Caravan

These Icelandic youngsters have made a fair dent in their scene since starting out musically declaring their love for the Prog giants of the '60s and '70s, and their second release, Voyage, is both killer homage and a piece of original songwriting. Clearly very competent on their instruments in the sort of headstrong adolescent rampage that makes this album feel so good, Craving kicks things off in a huge way, Winterland adds a bit of variation by bringing the tempos down a little bit, while The Kings Voyage brings it to an ominous end. Sweet.
