The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 2

This final instalment lives up to expectations and should relieve fans of the torture of waiting to see what happened after Bella opened those new vampire eyes at the end of Part 1.

Virtually following on from that moment, BD Part 2 has Kristen Stewart scrubbing up pretty well as the new vampiric Bella. It seems that female vamps are 'born' with a perfectly made-up face and an affinity with stylish clothes and high heels. This is definitely not the awkward teenager we know, as seen by her innate hunting skills when she takes down a mountain lion for her first meal.

The new member of the Cullen family is Renesmee, played at various ages but all with Mackenzie Foy's face superimposed  – whether it's the robot babies that were used or the young children who play her as she quickly grows from baby to about a ten-year-old within weeks. We also get to see some Bella-Edward vampire sex where he doesn't have to worry about breaking her in half, but as usual it's strictly PG fare.

There's been talk of the so-called 'shock twist' at the end, but it's in the climax rather than at the end. Don't let anyone tell you anything about it because it's best if you don't have a clue. But 'shock' definitely describes it.
