The Dead DaisiesThe Dead Daises have managed to breathe life into the sometimes cumbersome classic rock format, which isn't as easy as you'd imagine.
The good news is that Revolucion is a many splendoured beast with enough rhythmic variation to make it interesting. The band now features John Corabi on vocals (ex- Motley Crue) and there's even a guest appearance from Jimmy Barnes, highlighting one of the more melodic songs, Empty Heart. On Mexico the band capture their rocking best and on Sleep they show that they can do a ballad just as well as the big boys.
