Album Review: Tank - Sex, Love & Pain II

If you're an artist whose career hasn't reached the heights you'd hoped, Tank is an unfortunate moniker.

Physically imposing, productive, and nearly two decades deep into an R&B career; our hero's shot at the A-list appears to be in the process of — ahem — tanking. The-Dream, Frank Ocean and The Weeknd among others consigned slow, saccharine sex jams to the past years ago. #BDAY, a hashtag equipped with a Chris Brown guest spot, may be the most cynical song we hear this year. Fuckin Wit Me is a sexual CV whose title is edgy to only the most naive of nine-year-olds. Nothing to see here, folks.
