Album Review: Sunnyboys - Individuals

Sunnyboys’ difficult second Individuals finally sounds how the band originally envisaged, some 33 years after it first hit shelves. The discovery of late producer Lobby Loyde’s initial rough mixes has allowed them to forgo the relatively muddy mix thrust upon them back in the day, giving this reissue a completely different feel and bringing vibrancy and a whole new lease of life to chestnuts like You Need A Friend, This Is Real and No Love Around. Combined with a swag of extras, this good album just became great. The resurgence continues.
