Steve Poltz - Folk Singer

Even before Poltz' entry, the stage looks set for an eccentric, troubadour folk-singer. His well-travelled guitar case gives it away. Poltz enters and his presence and self-introduction are bigger than the room. There isn't much this man can't do. The songs move between heartfelt and hilarious, the anecdotes are immersive and equally hilarious. An ode to the broken iPhone delivered with impressive vocal acrobatics and mastery of the looping technique is one of many stand-outs.
