If you’re heading to the Sunshine Coast this spring, make sure you wish Big Pineapple Festival a happy tenth birthday.
On Saturday, 1 November, the festival will celebrate its tenth-anniversary edition, which promises to be juicier than ever. Headlined by the incomparable Hilltop Hoods—who are selling out arena shows across the country—this year’s line-up will sport local and international music heroes.
In addition to Hilltop Hoods making their way to the Pineapple Fields for the first time, the upcoming festival also stars rock, pop, and indie stars The Cat Empire, The Jungle Giants, PNAU, as well as metalcore band Polaris.
Elsewhere, Big Pineapple Festival has locked in New Zealand group SIX60, Hands Like Houses, MKTO, Rum Jungle, Thelma Plum, Betty Taylor, Beckah Amani, HEADSEND, and IVANA.
The 2025 event will also introduce a brand-new stage dedicated solely to dance music. Superlove Arena, a purpose-built stage that celebrates electronic culture, will host back-to-back sets with artists including Baauer, Bushbaby, Anna Lunoe B2B Nina Las Vegas, KLP B2B Mell Hall, Little Fritter B2B Wongo, Paluma B2B Kessin, Shimmy and Raw Ordio.
Pre-sale tickets will be available for $145. First-release tickets will be sold at $150 and will continue to increase incrementally as fans progress through the releases – second release at $155, third release at $160, fourth release at $165, and final release at $170.

“When we started this festival years ago, our goal was to put Australian artists front and centre and create an unforgettable experience for fans,” Mark Pico, founder and Festival Director of Big Pineapple Festival, commented in a statement.
“To be here over a decade later with the festival stronger than ever and even earning industry awards again… is incredibly humbling. It’s a testament to the amazing community of artists, attendees and partners who have believed in the Big Pineapple Festival from the start.”
Sunshine Coast Council Mayor Rosanna Natoli added, “Celebrating 10 years, this festival has grown into a cornerstone of our cultural calendar, bringing together artists, audiences and the community in a shared love of live music.
“It’s especially exciting to see emerging local talent like Betty Taylor featured alongside national and international acts, reinforcing the Sunshine Coast’s reputation as a place where creativity thrives.”
