Album Review: Steel Panther - Live From Lexxi's Mom's Garage

This live CD accompanies Steel Panther's "first full-length film" of the same name, which also stars Bobbie Brown (famous from Warrant's Cherry Pie video) as Lexxi's Mom.

Taped before a live audience in LA, it's Steel Panther stripped down and includes one "brand fucking new song", That's When You Came In ("and blew me..."). Of course Satchel's solos performed on acoustic guitar sound strange! There's an all-female string quartet (Bukkake Tears plus others) and drummer Stix Zadinia does a bang-up job tickling the ivories (Weenie Ride), but we wish Steel Panther would plug in. Fork out for the CD/DVD combo.
