“It's Such A Trap”: Meg Mac Refuses To Be Another Tragic Tale On 'It's My Party'

Album Review: Stare At The Clouds - This Clear Divide

"Stare At The Clouds demonstrate impressive musicianship and every song has a home here."

This Clear Divide is a debut, concept album from Sydney prog outfit, Stare At The Clouds.

The album explores trauma and how to deal with it. The Falling establishes the catastrophe while the tracks that follow explore a myriad of emotional responses. It's easy to get lost in the heavy wall of sound and Keelan Butterick's soft vocal. Evolving harmonies are broken up by little pockets where atmospheric-sounding riffs echo through silence. The band demonstrate impressive musicianship throughout. This Clear Divide is a well thought-out album and every song has a home here. Keep an eye out for Stare At The Clouds.
