"Latin jazz via Tokyo?"

Latin jazz via Tokyo?

Soil & “Pimp” Sessions not only manage that seeming impossibility, they do so with an intensity that would put many extreme metal groups to shame. A dizzying journey over ten years and nearly as many albums, this “best of...” consistently delivers with stupefyingly ridiculous high energy, plenty of helter-skelter solos, exquisite riffs and occasional neck-snappin’ death-jazz as epitomised on Crush. Once the dust has settled, you’re going to need a few deep breaths just to calm down.
