"The lightening musicianship here is mind-boggling."

Back in 2010, partly inspired by Daft Punk's all-conquering live shows at the time, Squarepusher had the idea of fronting an electronic rock band, releasing the so-so, non-charting studio album Shobaleader One: d'Demonstrator.

Fast forward seven years and Squarepusher has come much closer to that dream with this ripsnorting live album, recreating and re-energising a range of career highlights. The lightening musicianship here is mind-boggling, but deeper, meditative tracks such as Iambic 5 Poetry are just as compelling as the 'pusher confirms his first class jazz-fusion credentials.
