"11 tracks of hard-as-nails hardcore"

More Raised Fist More Raised Fist

Though they’ve shared record labels with countrymen No Fun At All and Millencolin Sweden’s Raised Fist is a far more uncompromising musical proposition. And on their first studio album in six years the quintet quickly show they haven’t lost any of their bludgeoning intensity. From The North offers up 11 tracks of hard-as-nails hardcore that somehow retain a catchy and at times melodic edge. Spearheaded by Alle’s signature rasping vocals, tracks like Sanctions and Until The End spiral into anthem territory and will no doubt set pits off on the band’s inevitable upcoming tour.
