"A gritty, aggressive record of fuzzy coastal punk that absolutely punishes – in an incredible way."

More Radolescent More Radolescent

Gold Coast’s Radolescent have outdone expectations with debut album Prehab. Beginning with punchy high notes and then dipping straight into thick fuzz with opener Retina, ears are both pierced and pummelled while heads spin violently in delight.

Throughout the first six tracks, the album keeps heart rates pumping beyond healthy limits with upbeat tempos, quick drums and screechy guitars. A true highlight is a sample from the legendary Corey Worthington interview within Locked Up.

Tuck Me In drops the tempo without being dreary. After the enjoyable slow jam things speed up again in Speed Based and Drug Fiend and the album finishes on two high notes with Water Demon followed by The Ballad Of Lynn Howl.

Radolescent have thrown out a gritty, aggressive record of fuzzy coastal punk that absolutely punishes – in an incredible way.
