It seems other up and comers want the chance to take on his originals. Hence we present to you, the remixes of Thief's 'Broken Boy'.
THIEF was born when Sydney artist PJ Wolf traded in his guitars for synthesizers, and now that he's on his way to more electronic frontiers - it seems other up and comers want the chance to take on his originals. Hence we present to you, the remixes of Thief's 'Broken Boy'.
Thief’s early demos found their way on to the internet earlier this year, and ever since this emergence as Thief, PJ has been considered a brand new minimalist pop artist. Creating a sound that rivals the likes of contemporaries such as Metronomy, Miike Snow and Frank Ocean.
Today we managed to catch wind of the latest remixes of his new single 'Broken Boy', off his four track debut EP, Closer. They're brought to us via producers Lower Spectrum & Vacant Lake.

Lower Spectrum puts an even darker spin on 'Broken Boy', with hip hop inspired percussive rolls and heavy synth layering.
Closer EP is out now on Rabble Records. And he'll be touring Australia in early 2014 with The Aston Shuffle, the dates are below:
