Prolific, multi-disciplinary artist Driftwood. is today revealing his new single 'Bremfields' featuring British Rapper Still Greedy premiering exclusively via Purple Sneakers ahead of its official release, this Friday the 21st of January. The track perfectly adds to his gorgeously convincing discography, further enhancing his reputation as a producer that is more than one to watch.
On 'Bremfields', Driftwood. showcases his knack for blending R&B and electronic stylings perfectly, swaying between an array of energy and emotion through his production stylings. The track comes with an otherworldly, dreamy aesthetic, driven by sporadic moments of synth bliss, trippy percussion and an eerie atmospheric vocal from Still Greedy.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Driftwood. says, “This single is about breaking the fourth wall. It’s about the idea that there could be subterranean energies and other factors operating within other paradigms of consciousness. It’s about feeling like I’m trapped within this paradigm, and I don’t belong here…the one thing I love about art is I have a licence to explore ideas, no matter how crazy they may seem.”
