The second EP from this Brisbane outfit consists of sun-drenched electro-pop. Their disco-tinged dance tracks may be an overdose of bubbliness for some. However these catchy melodies will ensure an easy, enjoyable listen, in which classic pop structures meet contemporary production tastes. Climbing Trees and Curtain Call combine deep, grinding techno elements with a cleaner pop-rock ballad sound, informing an interesting combination of moods. Tropical hints in the more subdued title-track showcase an extra dimension to their sound. They play at Boney on 27 Feb.
