"There's very little dead weight on this endlessly enjoyable collection."

Boom Crash Opera alumnus Peter Farnan's crowd-funded pet project assembles a formidable cast of vocalists for an eclectic array of songs, written by him.

Ali Barter kicks off with the wonderfully dark pop song My Radiance; Tim Rogers spits and croons on the acerbic Get Me To A Church; Paul Kelly and Rebecca Barnard harmonise on the Leonard Cohen-esque lament Now That Our Babies Have Grown. With a cast that includes Paul Capsis, Tinpan Orange's Emily Lubitz (her dark and delicate Disappear is an album highlight) and Lost Ragas' Simon Burke, there's very little dead weight on this endlessly enjoyable collection.
