For all the silliness that surrounded Pantera, you have to admire their single-minded vision.

For all the silliness that surrounded Pantera, you have to admire their single-minded vision. After conquering the world with Vulgar Display Of Power the band could have gone radio-friendly for the masses. Instead they released a snarling beast. This remastered version of Far Beyond Driven isn't only a timely celebration of the album's 20th anniversary – it also serves to remind us just how explosive these tunes remain. The album has been given a revived sonic punch without losing any of its rawness. A bonus live set from Donington '94 makes this a must have.
