From the abrasive maniacal glee of Thomy Cut Off A Head to the blue-collar dirge of Pale Head and the drunk-punk singalongs Transitioning Out and Devotion, it’s a guitar blast to the face from start to finish. There are breaks from the formula, like the elongated blitzkrieg outro to Milk Eyes and the quiet contemplation that closes out Homeless, but Headless is a relentless buzz saw serration to the senses.
