Live Review: No Way Back teams up with Le Youth for ‘Back2life’

LA Based NO WAY BACK is known for being a touch reclusive, however he has joined forces with old mate LE YOUTH and steamed ahead on the track ‘Back2Life’, a track, which, dare I say it, is definitely a “summer banger”.

Acknowledging the inner desires of every one of us out there, No Way Back has put it out there that summertime, is party time, a time to “party hard and surrender yourself to the consequences”. So here we are with a track created around taking this feeling, and filling our little hearts and dancing feet with it.

Teaming up with Le Youth this pair are obviously a collaborative dream. With the mission to create the perfect roof raising, summer vibing track, you could almost call them over achievers for nailing it so successfully with ‘Back2life’.

What they nailed was the perfect combination of crisp, consistent percussion and swelling synths, in something that has clearly grown organically given its smooth transition from start to finish.

Le Youth adds his own perspective on the track, he loves that regardless of being a club track, it’s a track with lines like “you bring me back to life” that will resonate differently with everyone. For him it’s lost love, for someone else it might be that feeling of freedom summer leaves you with.
