Just weeks after releasing a new remix of her song 'BIPP' by Autechre, SOPHIE has now unleashed a B-Side in the form of 'UNISIL'.

Released as a B-side to Autechre's remix of her single, 'BIPP', which dropped just a couple of weeks ago, SOPHIE has now gifted us with another new release in 'UNISIL'. An exhilarating track which harks back to her pioneering PRODUCT album (which featured 'Lemonade', 'Vyzee' and more), 'UNISIL' is the kind of clanging, banging, sticky and mind-bending music which made SOPHIE one of electronic music's most defining forces in the last decade.

According to Reddit and other social media platform users, 'UNISIL' has existed in some form for a few years at least, and was first released with the CD version of PRODUCT back in 2015. Today marks the official, wide spread release of the song with its addition to streaming opening it up to a whole new audience.

PRODUCT preceded the ambitious, career-affirming 2017 album Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides, which contained game-changing singles 'Ponyboy', 'Faceshopping', 'It's Okay To Cry' and 'Immaterial'. However, SOPHIE's output over the last few years hasn't just been this. She's collaborated with JIMMY EDGARARCAFLUMEKIM PETRASVINCE STAPLES and many more, as well as releasing a full length remix version of OOEPUI in 2019. In 2020, she shared a 20 minute long livestream set full of new music, and delivered remixes for Fletcher, Abyss X and BABYNYMPH's 'clown shit' with BAYLI.

With the release of 'UNISIL' and the 'BIPP' remix, SOPHIE fans everywhere are holding their breath in the hopes there is plenty more where this came from. Listen below:
