Album Review: Napier - Sundance Romance

"Like every summer fling, all good things must come to an end."

Napier has soundtracked the quintessential Aussie summer.

Sundance Romance's lazy strumming anticipates sweltering afternoon sessions when "It feels like she'll never leave". You can taste warm VB fizzing on your tongue as you get your sweat on with an ol' skool twist and Shake! Shake! Shake!. Stylistic variation through simplistic arrangements, topped off with their knack for a catchy hook and a smouldering sax solo is rounded off with the classic rock'n'roll of Howlin'. But, like every summer fling, all good things must come to an end. A cold breeze blows through the melancholy final track as we realise "She don't love me no more… This is the end" when winter rolls around.
