Although there is nothing extraordinary about this album, it’s still worth a listen.

More Michael Paynter More Michael Paynter

While Michael Paynter's vocals definitely shine through here, the majority of these tracks lack originality and are quite reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson, albeit a male version. However, even though Paynter' approach to his music could be seen as stock standard, this album does produce some infectious tunes including Love The Fall. Ordinary. Novocaine is a pleasant step away from the singer's typical pop-rock style, showcasing his skills on the piano along with highlighting his incredible vocal range and the live edition of Weary Stars is a nice touch. Although there is nothing extraordinary about this album, it's still worth a listen.
