Sometimes these styles reflect what she has put out previously, sometimes they don't — but all ideas seem to fit well within the context of the album. The strongest suit that This Is M.E. has, however, are the lyrics. Etheridge has always been fairly strong in this area, but she seems to have hit her stride with the furious and relentless prosody of this album.
