Fringe: Who Killed Mamashak?

23 September 2014 | 12:08 pm | Hayley Sorel

A cabaret noir murder mystery set in a circus with a Sapphic twist: unfortunately, covering this many genres results in stunted flow and unpolished performances. While the space creates intimacy, a larger space would have done the show more justice. Nevertheless, it still manages to be a rollicking good time (with a sexy edge!). Funny and lighthearted, this would be the perfect way end to Fringe night. Standouts include Mimi, The Hula Hooper, the voice of Mamashak and the finale. Overall, fun and entertaining, albeit not for everyone.
