Fringe: Hook Up

23 September 2014 | 12:10 pm | Hayley Sorel

This new cabaret explores one man’s (Nick Hedger) confusion about Gen Y and the type of relationships they form – a topic often explored, although rarely in such a witty, truthful and entertaining style as the writers of Hook Up. The show has relatively low production values, more than made up for by the talent of all involved. The venue is too large to create the intimacy that would have complemented the style of the show, but the writing and performance are strong enough to maintain audience engagement faultlessly.
