'Venetian Mask' is taken from MATRIXXMAN's 'Amulet' EP and boasts an 80s styled start that is reminiscent of a 'Karate Kid' montage. The track suddenly explodes in a screeching of sounds, turning this track into a Techno lover's dream.
The seething synth makes this track a little menacing, much like a Venetian mask and creates the same dramatic theatrics that goes with it. Sampling winds and dives into a crafty mix of beats that seem to duck and weave the listener into a frenzy.
The thrills and spills keep on coming, urging the listener to carry on in the midst of everything that is going on. Its as if the track entices and teases you into wondering what could possibly be around the bend.
Matrixxman's EP 'Amulet' is set to be released on June 9. Until then we have 'Venetian Mask'. This tune not one for the faint of heart. In fact you must be this high to ride.
