It’s been a while since we heard the queen of hip hop and soul sound this fresh. The London Sessions is best when it goes house, particularly when the Disclosure boys come into play (Right Now, Follow). And it’s a shame the ol’ school, gritty blues feel of opener Therapy doesn’t appear more on the album – a great start to an even greater record. The queen is back.
