Album Review: Loose Pills - Rx

The voluminous musical resumes of the various Pills go from bands of international renown, to local cult heroes, and plenty of groupings that never got out of the garage. But that range of experiences make them know exactly what racket they want to make.

Rx is end-to-end pop songs, where the melodies, harmonies and hooks are plentiful but the guitars are still allowed to be loud. May even contain traces of cowbell. You’re not going to find the meaning of life, but there are worse philosophies in the world than found in the crunchy advice of Get Drunk, Play Records.
