Hailing from the wilds of northern Tasmania, Sam Greive unveils his third Lo Tide album, a 12-track album of sparse electronic music opening with the slow-burning after-hours piano-house groove of One Day, featuring the rather soulful vocals of Hannah Fay.
Moving On, featuring Jenn K, works down-tempo introspection on folksy verse and electropop chorus. Once the guest vocalists have done their thing Lo Tide sinks his teeth into minimal electronica that meanders with ambient intent. Slow beats and deep bass produce head-nodding rhythms over which melodic synths noodle.
