"While Ephemera doesn't exactly shatter any ceilings, the rich harmonies and layered arrangements indicate that Absolute Zero was no fluke."

More Little Green Cars More Little Green Cars

It's hard to comprehend that the five members of Dublin band Little Green Cars are all only in their early 20s.

Arriving with a bang in 2013 with their debut Absolute Zero, the then teenagers took the world by storm. The expectations for a follow-up album were always going to be big, and while Ephemera doesn't exactly shatter any ceilings, the rich harmonies and layered arrangements indicate that Absolute Zero was no fluke. Steeped in Americana and encompassing subjects like love, loss and death, Ephemera is grandiose in scale yet intimate in nature, with many more hits than misses.
