Roche Musique, a quite well-established label out of France, have been working hard with their incredibly talented roster to establish an incredible rapport.
ZIMMER is one of these artists, and he’s becoming renowned particularly for his smart tunes laced with tropical vibes and the gorgeous night life that Paris has to offer.
He’s set to drop a new EP titled, Coming of Age, on the 10th of July through his fam at Roche Musique, and he’s just given us a taste of this in the form of ‘Heartbreak Reputation’, featuring the incredible vocals of POLINA.
There’s a real tropical tone emanating from this one in true Zimmer fashion, and it’s moreso in the keys than anything else. However, what really stands out for me in this one is the gorgeous dark undertones that sit in the verse, one that feels more like a ghost than something incredibly prominent.
There’s a real 80’s feel in this one, yet everything about it is so modern.
Zimmer’s definitely shown us a new side to his sound, and we're heaps keen on the rest of the EP.
