Perth producer WYN's trap haven 'Those Other Things Will Come With Time' is an ode to those on their grind.

Perth's Madeleine McEwan AKA WYN is one of those bedroom producer's who has been plugging away for years now, honing in on her craft and getting so damn good at what she does, that every release from her is a treat. She's this week put out a new half-time stomper called 'Those Other Things Will Come With Time', and though it's been a while since we've heard an original from her, the growth in her sound is undeniable.

Last month, she treated us to a remix of Argentinian producer Dabow's 'Olé'. Showcasing a heavier side to her sound, the huge emphasis on the low-end captivated us and has translated hugely into her new work.

'Those Other Things Will Come With Time' proves that good things really do come with time, giving us versatility in both her vocal style and attention to detail in the track's sound design. Airy pads float gently atop a filthy low-end that slowly makes its way to the fore, giving us the perfect foundation for her vocal to come in with strength and conviction.

It's an ode to putting your head down, working hard at what you do and never getting to big for your britches. Lyrically, it's for those on their grind, with lyrics like 'You are better than knowing, always focus on growing/And those other things will come with time'.

The second half of the track sees her voice descend into the backdrop while a fat trap breakdown dominates the soundscape, juxtaposing the breathy, expansive nature of the instrumental. Her vocal provides a point of refuge from the heaviness, providing an excellent balance.

WYN's found her thing. While contemplating how to work, she's come into her own, and this track is indicative of this hugely profound realisation for her.
