American hero Moby has taken on Washed Out's single 'All I Know' from the artist's second album, Paracosm.
Ernest Greene released his second full-length album Paracosm under his WASHED OUT moniker mid-2013. Now months post release, legendary American musician MOBY has taken Paracosm's single 'All I Know' out for a dance.
A reoccurring theme with Washed Out's music is the constant coasting of rhythm that soars within his tunes. The original 'All I Know' garnered this effect, teasing us with a sense of wanderlust and youth. Moby's version however, seems to lose this idea to a degree, due to the disturbance of this eased composition; as it is now riddled with a heavy punch weighing in on the song, causing a distracting beat.
It also seems as though an additional acoustic guitar is at play, as stringy strums was not something you could depict in the original. With a combination of more subtle elements floating around the rendition, Moby has successfully brought his own style and texture to his interpretation of Washed Out's 'All I Know'.
