Live Review: LISTEN: Two Door Cinema Club 'Sleep Alone' (Beataucue Remix)

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB’s new album Beacon has understandably attracted a lot of hype, and with the impressiveness of the tracks within, it’s no surprise that there are remix’s running all over the joint.

'Sleep Alone’, one of my favourite songs from the album has just been remixed by BEATAUCUE, and the result is pleasing. Very pleasing. It’s basically what you would expect of a TDCC fan, it’s got heaps of the original record, with a nice beat and all those other textual, layered niceties.

You can’t really go wrong with ‘Sleep Alone’ in the first place, it’s such a strong track. But a huge kudos to BEATAUCUE for turning an already marvellous song into something equally as interesting and… fun. This remix is fun. Excellence at its best. Well done. A gold star awarded.
