Live Review: LISTEN: Twin Shadow 'Five Seconds'

'Five Seconds' is the new single taken from Twin Shadow's forthcoming album Confess. It should be full of dark, love-lorn synth ballads.

'Five Seconds' is the new single taken from TWIN SHADOW'S forthcoming album Confess, which is due out this July on 4AD. Since 2010's unforgettable album Forget, TWIN SHADOW have become internationally recognised for their dark, love-lorn synth ballads.

'Five Seconds' is a bit more straight-up-and-down than other TWIN SHADOW tracks but still maintains the  glorious amount of drama that they are famous for. Lewis' voice carries the track from beginning to end. Towards the latter part of 'Five Seconds' he is almost reminiscent of the late Freddie Mercury in his vocal delivery.

If 'Five Seconds' is anything to go by, Confess is bound to be another TWIN SHADOW record filled with disturbing tales of unrequited love and broken hearts.  Very, very promising.
