'Everything Fell Off': The Struggles That Birthed Telenova's New Album, 'The Warning'

Live Review: TRAAMS 'Giddy'

Traams have a new EP on the way and soon you'll be diving back into those guitar-filled indie tunes you know and love.

Post-punk isn't really a term you hear too much anymore, but TRAAMS seem to have the genre covered. With the sudden rise in electronic music, you'd be forgiven for letting most other bands pass you by but honestly, when you hear TRAAMS you won't be just scrolling past, you'll be hooked.

The trio have been hard at work recording a brand new EP and it's finally ready to be released.

Before the new EP could even be thought about, TRAAMS had been touring across Europe, the UK and the US with SXSW blowing everyone away. Their new single 'Giddy' gives us the very first glimpse of their new offering and they've gotten their friends Rory Atwell and MJ to help out with the tracks creation.

'Giddy' definitely lives up to its name. Being energetic and bouncy, the track suddenly gives you the lift you need to start your day and get you ready for absolutely anything. The vocal track flows alongside the twangy guitars and deep bass sound with the drums jumping along behind them. The track kind of feels like the identifying element of indie music that was at it's height not too long ago. There aren't that many bands that are getting a lot of attention for this kind of talent anymore but TRAAMS plan on breaking through that and showing the world that they are awesome, and we should know it.

TRAAMS new EP Cissa is to be released on July 14 through Fat Cat Records.
