Perth boys SUN CITY have been hard at work over the past few months, wreaking havoc across the country and featuring high up on some pretty admirable scales. Their track ‘Zoetrope’ recently being featured in the ad campaign for MasterChef Australia, which in itself is a huge achievement.
I love the original version of ‘High’, I think everything just flows so perfectly, so when I heard the remix, I had pretty high expectations. And those expectations were greatly met.
Man, the bass line is so damn juicy, it’s seriously incredible stuff. Hitting the strong positives of the original (being the sunny synths, upbeat tempo and keen eye for detail) and then feeding them subtly into the remix, creating a chill, yet vibrant allusion, you’ll be bopping your head in seconds.
The flow is so contemporary, but bass-y enough to make a scene out of any public display of dance. Seriously incredible stuff, a huge credit to SHAZAM for this fab piece.
