Live Review: Stwo 'Eden' (Efesoul Remix)

Chile's Efesoul has carefully remixed French producer Stwo's single, 'Eden'.

Chilean bedroom producer EFESOUL is one of those hidden treasures you may find yourself stumbling across when browsing the Soundcloud plain. Leveraging his ability to heighten moods through his chilled-out production, Efesoul has remixed STWO's single, 'Eden', as part of a remix competition.

Quite gentle in his application, this interpretation of 'Eden' opens with an abundant, yet weightless braid of fading vocal tweaks, synth patterns and a reoccurring rubbery flicker to keep you engaged and collected. From here on in, we drift into a child-like game of yo-yo, where a series of whimsical sounds flutter in and out of our surroundings.

This ominous backdrop permeates a sense of wanderlust, as we venture into a mode of escapsim. Teasingly diminishing at just under the three minute mark, you're left with no choice but to chase that same fleeting sensation experienced during the course of the track.

For the moment, both Efesoul's remix and Stwo's initial version of 'Eden' can only be streamed online. Grab a listen of the original HERE.
