SNAKAKDAKTAL are a unique act and it's accurate to say that there is no one making the music that they produce here in Australia. Their mix of atmospheric synths with sweet melody, haunting vocals and a damn good drum beat definitely all prove to work deliciously together.
There have been a series of remixes that have emerged since their album 'Sleep In The Water' was released, most notably of 'Fall Underneath' from HAYDEN JAMES + KILTER and 'Ghost' by COSMO'S MIDNIGHT. There has been so much hype around the record (having made our Top 50 Albums of 2013), and although it came out quite a while ago now, the remixes still just keep on rolling in.
This next offering comes from UK duo JUST KIDDIN'. The pair have transformed SNAKADAKTAL's track 'The Sun II' into a dance friendly, bouncing machine that you could listen to over and over again.
Originally, 'The Sun II' is a very quiet and relaxed song, but with the help of JUST KIDDIN' the track has become a track you'll probably hear out in clubs very soon. An uplifting remix filling with beaming synths and a catchy beat, beware of JUST KIDDIN's infectious bug.
