We have the first taste of new material from the semi-mysterious producer, Shit Robot, in the form of new single, 'Feels Real'.
If you're new to the disco field, you probably haven't come across SHIT ROBOT before. But don't freak out when we tell you he's been signed to DFA Records for pretty much 12 years now, as he's been on a three year hiatus... until now.
Shit Robot is the pseudonym of Dublin Bred, Marcus Lambkin, who not only can list LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy as a good friend; but also has released an album to critical acclaim, collaborated with Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip fame as well as Murphy and is just considered as a production extraordonaire on a daily basis.

Now finally we have the first taste of new material from the semi-mysterious producer, in the form of new single, 'Feels Real'. Featuring The Rapture's lead vocalist, all round awesome dude and DFA labelmate - Luke Jenner on vocals (hidden behind his alias, JENR) - the track brings a new life to disco genre.
Jenner's vocals are the centrepiece of this down-tempo dance track, with his falsetto reaching higher than the Scissor Sisters ever could, yet never overpowers the minimalistic beats and 80's organ samples that Lambkin uses. And we're also happy to bring you two versions of the track today, a slick edit that comes in at just under 4 minutes as well as the original 8 minute epic journey.
