SBTRKT gives us yet another sneak peek at his new album 'Wonder Where We Land' with A$AP Ferg and half of Warpaint contributing to 'Voices in My Head'.
The new SBTRKT (Aaron Jerome) album has been shaping up perfectly into everything you would want in an electronica album, a tireless potent stalwart collection of songs that lives on the vibrancy of its maker.
Another huge bonus is the heaps of collaborations from a list of our favourite artists that includes Ezra Koening, Sampha, Jessie Ware and Chairlift's Caroline Polachek.
Before 'Wonder Where We Land' finally drops on the 26th September, SBTRKT has given us yet another privileged sneak peek with 'Voices In My Head' which features A$AP Ferg and Stella and Emily who make half of indie rock band Warpaint.
From the opening seconds, you can taste the post acid house influence in the aural atmospheric sphere with Emily chaperoning you into the twist-turn spirals of A$AP Ferg vocals. The drums are notably Warpaint-styled but incorporated into a slow bass-heavy jazz beat, matching it with horns and SBTRKT on the upright piano. Aaron calls this track one of his favourites and deems it a fitting ending to the record. We couldn't agree more.
