LA-man SALVA brings together some of the West Coast’s best rappers with his latest track, ‘Drop That Bitch’. The producer has recently made waves on the international scene with a series of amazing remixes, with SAGE THE GREMLIN’s ‘Gas Pedal’ immediately coming to mind for most.
This release comes alongside the producer’s announcement of a new music venture, the start of his own record label, PEACEMAKER and a mixtape of the same name.
‘Drop That Bitch’ features KURUPT, SCHOOLBOY Q, PROBLEM and BAD LUCC, an impressive ensemble of MCs that show their strengths with each hard-hitting verse thrown. The tune is a booming battleground of trap and electronic elements, whilst also fusing together modern and classic hip-hop and rap traits, with the latter all thanks to that sample from Eazy-E’s ‘Cruising in my 64’.
There’s so much heavy vibe-ing to be done to this song, so don’t bother listening with headphones. Unplug them offensive things and play this loud. Shit-crazy loud.
