Live Review: LISTEN: Rufus 'Sundream' (Teaser) + Tour Announced

RUFUS have been very excited about the release of their debut album Atlas. First they release their track 'Desert Night' and not long after that, a remix EP filled with great tweaks of 'Desert Night' by some fantastic producers.

Then the boys worked with Red Bull Music Academy to give us a small documentary about themselves and the recording process of Atlas. Now the boys are teasing us again and it's just all getting crazy.

'Sundream' is the first track on Atlas and so this teaser is pretty much just dipping our toes in the pool before we get to bomb dive in on August 9. Opening with some lovely smooth synths and vocals that could melt anything, 'Sundream' opens up like a sunrise which of course suits their album perfectly.

A sudden burst and we are brought in for the beat mix up with the melody and the entire track just sounds absolutely astounding. We get into the full swing of 'Sundream' at the end of the teaser and we are then pretty much left with a track that I want to listen to in full so damn badly!

The boys of RUFUS sure know how to tease us all with great tracks like this, but luckily August 9 isn't too far away so we shall be treated to Atlas in it's entirety very soon, plus of course the entire album being played live when RUFUS embark on their national tour.

The band will be heading around Australia during September and October to bring Atlas to life with YESYOU supporting on the East Coast, and MOTEZ in South Australia and Western Australia. If you've seen RUFUS play before then you already know how spectacular their live shows are, but for those who still have no idea then head to these shows because it will be one you won't soon forget.
