LANCELOT was one of many knights at King Arthur's Round Table. According to Wikipedia, he was in fact the most trusted of King Arthur's Knights and played a role in many of King Arthur's victories. In more recent times though, things have got a little tight in the LANCELOT household. He and his wife GUINEVERE have been forced to try their hand at more modern trades, which is pretty tough for a couple who've been around since the 12th century. But in spite of his age, it would seem LANCELOT is getting the hang of this whole DJ-ing thing.
You can almost taste summer in LANCELOT's rework of 'Selena'. I'm imagining a sunny afternoon, by the beach, corona and lime, and the embrace of some gorgeous young thing in a floral bikini. Hey, it could happen!
LANCELOT's multi-layered house stylings shine RUFUS' original track in a whole new light, drawing out an entirely different aspect to 'Selena'. The deep grooves and melodic rises make for a dance-floor friendly tune that will no doubt find its way on to many a Sunday kick-on playlist.
