‘I Have To Go Rogue Every Single Time’: Peach PRC Reflects On The Past As She Steps Into Her New Era

Live Review: According to Paces, 1993 had No Chill

Gold Coast tropics enthusiast, Paces, has just dropped his first single of the year, '1993 (No Chill)', featuring the vocals of Jess Kent.

Old mate, Mikey Perry, also known as tropics enthusiast, PACES, has revealed his first Summer anthem of the intensely warm season. Partnering up with Adelaide's, Jess Kent, it's a lyric heavy number titled, '1993 (No Chill)'.

Positioned by a scanty bounce, dribbles of percussion and meek samples gently wedge their way under the doormat of the narrative, as voiced by Jess Kent. A tropical climate, the instrumentation marries up with the lyricism perfectly. Playful in its simplicity, the track encapsulates the vibe of our warmer months, as they denote a greater sun presence during the holiday season; ultimately provoking a more carefree sense of self to one's character.

As Urban Dictionary (a viable source) would have it, that is essentially what, "no chill" summons, so snuggle into your headphones and let Paces embed some essential learning right into your earholes.

Paces' new single, '1993 (No Chill)' features the vocals of, Jess Kent, and is available via etcetc on Friday, 15th January.

Words by Hannah Galvin.
